K-1's New Year's Eve bash is pretty much a dead cert to guarantee some great matches but the Alistair Overeem vs Badr Hari bout was one of the best yet. Seeing the Moroccan bad boy dominated and brutally KO'ed by Alistair Overeem was something else.
My gut feeling was 100% on the mark but even I didn't expect Rampage to KO Silva in 3:21 of the 1st round. You can believe that result is going to send some serious ripples through the MMA world. Not only that but Mir beating Nogueira?!! And not just beating him but knocking him down repeatedly and dominating the fight!! Whoaah! There's another ripple making its way through the MMA world right there. I honestly did not expect Mir to survive the first round let alone get the win and in dominating fashion. What a fantastic performance and what a night of upsets at UFC 92.
